2020 is challenging our ability to present our 2019 drop rams to our clients and the industry via our customary attendance at Merino events in the lead up to the ram selling season. Mid July would traditionally have seen us taking a selection of rams to Bendigo to show and display at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show.
Joe Gerritsen is the new Manager of the Wanganella & Poll Boonoke Studs. Starting work at AFA in early July, Joe will be responsible for the day to day management of the stud flocks, the presentation of sale livestock and will work closely with the Stud Management Team to ensure our breeding strategies are implemented and results achieved.
Congratulations to Graham & Kay Tulloch, Girral, NSW on selling their 2018 drop Wanganella blood SIL ewes for the top price of $314 at the West Wyalong Special Store Sheep Sale on 5 February 2020. This is the 4th consecutive year that the Tulloch’s ewes have topped the sale.
The Principals and Management of the Wanganella and Poll Boonoke Merino Studs would like to thank all of the successful Buyers and Underbidders, and their Advisers, for their support at our 2019 Auction. We appreciate the confidence you have shown in our Merino genetics and look forward to continuing to work with you in your breeding business.
