The Kamballie and Manunda Poll Studs, both at Tammin in Western Australia, purchased Poll Boonoke 180137 in conjunction for $70,000 in a private sale negotiated at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show and facilitated by Landmark.

Placing first in the Pen of Three Ram Weaners at the 2019 Hay Sheep Show, the Poll Boonoke trio of PB180142, PB180147 and PB180137 continued an enviable record for the Stud in this special dual purpose class that is judged on 50:50 wool and meat merits.

Congratulations to Peter & Meegan McCarten & Family on winning the Most Profitable Award for their Wanganella blood flock entry, classed by Michael Elmes, in the 2019 Lake Cargelligo Maiden Merino Ewe Competition. Using standardised figures, the McCarten’s return per head for wool and stock sales was $307.
