The rams will be penned for inspection from 9.30 am and the auction will commence at 12.30 pm.

For the 7th consecutive year, the AFA Studs have been awarded the Elders Riverina Ram of the Year ribbon.
The Kamballie and Manunda Poll Studs, both at Tammin in Western Australia, purchased Poll Boonoke 180137 in conjunction for $70,000 in a private sale negotiated at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show and facilitated by Landmark.
AFA had 4 rams in the show pens at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show in Bendigo.
Placing first in the Pen of Three Ram Weaners at the 2019 Hay Sheep Show, the Poll Boonoke trio of PB180142, PB180147 and PB180137 continued an enviable record for the Stud in this special dual purpose class that is judged on 50:50 wool and meat merits.
Congratulations to long time Poll Boonoke client George Gowing and Family from Ilfracombe on showing the winning Pair of Medium Fleeces at the Longreach Show. Similarly, our congratulations also go to Wanganella client Bruce Spence from Isisford, Bruce entered the winning Pair of Strong Fleeces at the Longreach Show.
Congratulations to the Alfoxton Merino Stud on their showing success at the 2019 Queensland State Sheep Show, which included the Show’s Supreme Exhibit, the Poll Merino Breeders Group, the Grand Champion Poll Ram and the Grand Champion Poll Ewe.
Congratulations to Fred, Louise & Colleen Donnelly of St Omer, Condobolin on being awarded 3rd place for their Poll Boonoke/Wanganella entry in the 2019 Don Brown Memorial Merino Ewe Competition. Classed by Chris Bowman, the Donnelly’s were awarded the John Coy Achievement Award in 2017 and were Runners Up in the 2018 Competition.
