An exemption has been granted such that we will be able to conduct our Ram Auction on 15 September and open it up to members of the public, and people can participate in an outdoor public gathering for the purposes of buying livestock at auction.
The cancellation of the 2021 Australian Sheep & Wool Show meant we got to stay at home and make videos of the rams that were packed and ready to go to Bendigo for showing and display.
Congratulations to Lachie Barrett on his win in the Junior Judging competition and Peter Nadin for his Encouragement Award in the Blade Shearing competition.
A familiar and respected identity in the sheep industry, the passing of Bill Mildren in June 2021 has robbed us of an experienced sheepman, a steady yet innovative mentor, a strong sounding board and, most importantly, a valued friend.
